Waterloo is getting a Saturday Farm Market

Beginning Saturday, June 2, 2018, 8:00 a.m.- 1:00 p.m.  The Waterloo Rotary Farm Market will be located along Vern’s Way in downtown Waterloo, near the old Save-A-Lot building & behind the Waterloo Village offices.

The Market season will be June 2- October 20.  The Waterloo Rotary Farm Market, although funded by the Waterloo Rotary Club is the product of a collaboration between the Waterloo Rotary Club, the Seneca County Farm Bureau and the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Seneca County.

We are excited to provide a well-deserved avenue to obtain fresh foods and local products for Waterloo Residents and visitors to our beautiful Village. We envision this Market to be a gathering place where all are welcome and where local farmers, artisans and entertainers can interact with the community, gain public exposure and generate additional income.

To ensure that we are supporting our local economy, it is required that 100% of the produce, dairy, flora, other products and artisan items sold at The Waterloo Rotary Farm Market be grown or produced in N.Y. State, mostly within Seneca County. Each week we will have live entertainment, fresh and hot breakfast foods and a variety of hot lunch options. All are welcome at the Waterloo Rotary Farm Market, which is a perfect family-friendly event!

We hope you plan to join us on Opening Day, Saturday, June 2, 8:00-1:00. Lots of fantastic LOCAL vendors, live music and cookout!
