Seneca Meadows looks to help community after Feher closure

Seneca Meadows is offering free residential waste disposal through June 10th and extended facility hours to accommodate those impacted by the unexpected closure of Feher Rubbish.

While this offer only stands for Seneca County residents — the closure of Feher Rubbish took many customers by surprise.

Residents wishing to participate in this relief effort are welcome to bring their household waste to Seneca Meadows, on Route 414, Saturday from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm or Sunday from 7:00 am to 1:00 pm, with their Feher invoice and proof of residency, Seneca Meadows said on Friday in a press release.

Seneca Meadows District Manager, Kyle Black, said, “Many community members and neighbors have approached me with their concerns for the safe timely disposal of their waste left sitting from the abrupt Feher Rubbish closing. Seneca Meadows has long been an integral part of Seneca County’s waste management plans, both present and future, and we feel that this is the best way for us to help our neighbors through this difficult situation.”
