Spectrums customers regain Fox affiliate as contract dispute ends

It came back without much fanfare, but Spectrum customers in Seneca County are celebrating as their local Fox affiliate has been restored.

It had been a long, complicated, and public contract dispute between Northwest Broadcasting and Spectrum. The dispute became public after Northwest’s channels were abruptly pulled from the Spectrum lineup in Seneca County.

Customers in Seneca went more than three months without Fox68 and two other stations owned by the broadcast group. Now though, the wait is over.

Details of the deal were not publicized, but the channels came back during the overnight hours on Thursday.
