Geneva Police Chief Trickler will retire in July

Retirement is coming.

Reporting by the Finger Lakes Times indicates that Jeff Trickler, chief of the Geneva Police Department will retire next month.

Trickler said in an email to the Times on Monday that he ‘will be looking to retire in July’. “I thoroughly enjoy working for the Geneva Police Department,” he said to the paper later on Monday. “I love this profession and look forward to seeing this department take the next step.”

He chief has been with the Geneva Police Department for 22 years, and was named leader of the force in 2011. Trickler graduated from Geneva High School in 1987, and also graduated from Finger Lakes Community College.
