One hospitalized after crash in Phelps

Deputies responded to a two car crash with injuries at the intersection of State Routes 96 and 88 on Thursday.

Investigators say a vehicle, operated by Danielle Bellis, 33, of Phelps was heading east on Route 96 and failed to stop at the red light at the intersection with Route 88. A pickup truck, operated by Paul Landschoot, 57, of Phelps struck her vehicle in the middle of the intersection.

As result of the collision Bellis complained of neck pain and was transported to F.F. Thompson Hospital for treatment.

She was issued a traffic ticket for failing to stop at the red light, according to deputies.
