The Yankees pitched to Manny Machado at least one too many times, watching the All-Star shortstop crack a pair of game-tying blasts to set up Jonathan Schoop’s game-winning single off Greg Bird’s glove at first base, helping the Orioles rally for a 6-5 victory over the Yankees on Tuesday at Camden Yards.

Schoop’s ninth-inning hit was delivered off Dellin Betances after Machado came up big for Baltimore. Clearly not distracted by the trade rumors that continue to attach his name to several teams, including the Yankees, Machado belted a solo homer off Masahiro Tanaka in the fifth inning and took Chad Green deep for a two-run drive in the seventh.
