A Phelps teen was airlifted to Strong Memorial Hospital, while three others were sent to Geneva General after a violent two-car accident on Monday.
Deputies say 18-year-old Cody Silsby, of Phelps was traveling east on Cross Road and stopped at a stop sign at the intersection with Route 14; but did not see an oncoming vehicle being operated by Ana Burgos, 63, of Geneva.
He pulled out onto Route 14 in front of Burgos’ vehicle and was struck around 2:10 pm.
Deputies say the 18-year-old suffered a neck, chest and pelvic injury and was airlifted from the scene by Mercy Flight.
Burgos suffered a neck and chest injury and was transported by ambulance to Geneva General Hospital, along with both of her passengers.
Finger Lakes Ambulance and Oaks Corners Fire Department assisted on-scene, according to deputies.
Both vehicles were towed from the scene, and Silsby was found to be at fault. He was issued a ticket for failing to yield the right of way.
The condition of the 18-year-old Phelps resident was not updated by authorities.
