Deputies: Farmington man stopped in wrong lane, found to be intoxicated

A 30-year-old Farmington man stopped in front of oncoming traffic while drunk and on drugs, according to deputies.

Deputies say Luis A. Gonzales, 30, of Farmington was charged with driving while intoxicated, driving while ability impaired by drugs, driving while ability impaired by drugs and alcohol after a traffic stop on Route 96.

They say Gonzales stopped in the oncoming lane of traffic without hazard lights or a turn signal.

During the traffic stop it was determined that he was intoxicated and impaired by drugs.

He was transported to the Ontario County Jail.

The charges will be answered at a later date.
