The Lakefront Art Show returns July 28-29 to Kershaw Park, 155 Lakeshore Drive, Canandaigua, for its 45th year as a juried art show at this location.
Over 100 artists will be on display on the north shore of Canandaigua Lake. There will local nonprofit displays, children’s activities, music and various festival food vendors, including Nick Tahou Hots and Red Osier.
The show will open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day, with free admission to the public.
This year’s commemorative poster depicting a fall theme on Canandaigua Lake was painted by area artist Bruce Shoemaker. The poster will be sold at the art show; Shoemaker will be on-site for signings.
In celebration of its 45th anniversary and in partnership with the Finger Lakes Wine Trail, the show will host a wine and beer garden. A tasting fee applies. The garden will feature over 40 Finger Lakes wines, beers, ciders and grape juices. Scheduled to participate are Arbor Hill, Heron Hill, Raymor Estate Cellars, Hazlitt’s Red Cat Cellars, Inspire Moore, New York Kitchen, Twisted Rail Brewing, Irish Mafia Brewing and Brew & Brats.
