Deputies say they responded to a two-car accident at the intersection of State Routes 96 and 332 around 10 am on Sunday.
They say Kathleen Gosnell, 80, of Henrietta was making a left turn from State Route 332 onto State Route 96; and Michele Garrett, 45, of Canandaigua was traveling north on State Route 332 with a passenger – identified as Taylor Garrett.
The accident occurred when Gosnell failed to yield the right of way and turned in front of Garrett’s vehicle.
Deputies say Gosnell was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital by Victor Farmington Ambulance – while Garrett and her passenger were transported to Thompson Hospital by Victor Farmington Ambulance.
Gosnell was tickets, according to deputies, who remained on-scene for some time.
Deputies say New York State Police, Farmington Fire Department and Victor Farmington Ambulance all responded and assisted at the scene.
