Rain has stayed away but expect showers & storms Wednesday

Over the weekend the local forecast for the work week looked like it would bring significant rainfall on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Aside from some showers in the southern half of the Finger Lakes ear;y Monday evening the Finger Lakes has remained dry throughout the first half of the week as we close out the month of July.

That will likely change on Wednesday…

Thursday
A chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after noon. Partly sunny, with a high near 81. Southwest wind 6 to 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
