Farmington woman ticketed after car slams into utility pole; sent to local hospital with minor injuries

Deputies say they responded to a single-car accident with injuries on Brownsville Road in Farmington over the weekend.

The accident was reported on Friday around 11 pm, when Brittani Johnson was traveling west on Brownsville Road – when she failed to negotiate a curve properly – resulting in the vehicle striking a utility pole.

Johnson, a 28-year-old Farmington resident, was transported by ambulance to F.F. Thompson Hospital. She was issued tickets for unsafe speed, no insurance, unregister and un-inspected vehicle, and aggravated unlicensed operation.

Johnson will answer the charges in Farmington Town Court at a later date, according to deputies.
