Mets fall in extras after Oswalt goes 6 strong

The Mets may have lost Saturday night, 4-3 in 11 innings to the Marlins, but Corey Oswalt continues to impress with another promising performance.

Jacob Rhame was tagged with the loss on Saturday — the right-hander surrendered a walk-off base hit to Marlins backup catcher and pinch-hitter Bryan Holaday.

Since being recalled from Triple-A Las Vegas on Aug. 3, to replace an injured Steven Matz, Oswalt has shown he is continuing to develop, putting together his second consecutive solid outing on Saturday.
