CMAC’s ‘Gone Country’ with Alan Jackson

Country legend Alan Jackson revved up a crowd Friday night at Constellation Brands-Marvin Sands Performing Arts Center.

Jackson is known for a wide range of hits, including “Gone Country,” “Where I Come From,” “Don’t Rock the Jukebox,” “It’s Five O’Clock Somewhere” and many others.

Dee White opened the show.

The CMAC summer season is drawing to a close, although a few big-name performers are coming to town later in the month.

First up is country singer and songrwiter Brett Eldredge, who is scheduled to hit the CMAC stage Friday, Aug. 24.

Soul and funk band Earth, Wind & Fire shook up the 1970s and will again Wednesday, Aug. 29. You know the hits, which include “Shining Star,” “Sing a Song,” “September,” “Boogie Wonderland,” “Let’s Groove” and more.
