One of the men accused in the death of Wayne County mother Julie Martin pleaded guilty Thursday to her murder.
Prosecutors say Knowledge Couser was dating Martin’s daughter at the time.
Couser, Martin’s daughter Jasmine Harlee, and two other men were all charged with the crime.
The sheriff says they allegedly did it for the insurance money.
Deputies found Martin dead inside her home at the Orchard Grove Village mobile home park in the Town of Ontario back in February 2017.
According to court documents, she was smothered with a pillow.
Couser will be handed 20 years to life, waiving his right to appeal at sentencing in October.
