Deputies are investigating a farm accident that happened in Milo, which left a one-year-old child dead on Tuesday.
Those deputies and first responders were called to Hoyt Road in Milo for the report of a one-year-old run over by a piece of farm equipment around 10:40 am.
Investigators say a 32-year-old man, who was not identified, was driving a skid steer loader when the child ran or walked into the path of it as it was backing up.
The child was backed over by the equipment, according to investigators. The man got off the loader, pulled the child out from under it.
However, the child died at the scene, according to deputies.
The investigation remains active.
