Geneva man accused of selling cocaine in Canandaigua; faces felony charges

On August 31st at approximately 6:40 pm police arrested a 45-year-old Geneva man on felony drug charges.

Jason E. Cato, of Geneva was charged with criminal sale of a controlled substance in the third degree.



It’s alleged that Cato sold cocaine while in the City of Canandaigua. The arrest of Cato is the result of an extensive co-investigation conducted by the Canandaigua Police Department, the Geneva Police Department and the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office in regards to cocaine sales in Ontario County.

Cato was held in the Ontario County Jail without bail and additional charges are pending.
