Jacob deGrom’s Cy Young push will have to wait another day … again. The Mets and Marlins have postponed Monday’s game at Citi Field due to rain, with a single-admission doubleheader scheduled for Wednesday beginning at 4:10 p.m. ET.
Originally scheduled to start Sunday against the Phillies, deGrom was a late scratch due to the rainy forecast at Citi Field. Instead, Corey Oswalt started a game that, after a brief delay, was never interrupted due to rain and was won by the home team, 6-4.
