Area roundup: Honeoye tops Romulus in girls soccer

Three second-half goals helped lift the Honeoye girls soccer team over Romulus 3-0 Tuesday afternoon.

Lydia Hall led Honeoye with three points on two goals and an assist. Teammate Taylor Schultz picked up the team’s first goal.

Cora Woloson was credited with the assist on Hall’s first goal with 14:41 remaining in the second half. Honeoye goalkeeper Grace Hall registered four saves in net.

With the win, Honeoye claims the Finger Lakes West League title and moves to 7-0 in league play and 9-1 overall.
