East Bloomfield man rescued, 120 feet in the air at Seneca Niagara Resort after cable fails (video)

An East Bloomfield man was left dangling last week from the side of the Seneca Niagara Resort and Casino after a cable snapped while he was cleaning windows.

The Olean Times Herald reports that two men were on the scaffolding when the cable failed.

Family members say the men were on the side of the building, 120 feet in the air, for four and a half hours.

Fire crews from the Salamanca Fire Department were able to pull the men to safety.
