Wind and showers bring temporary chill for Friday, temps rise up over weekend

It’s going to get chilly, but don’t worry – it won’t stick around.

The weather will be changing throughout the day – as a cold front enters the Finger Lakes – passing through, bringing rain, wind, and cooler temperatures for Friday.

Even as daytime highs struggle to reach 60 degrees on Friday – the cool air won’t last. By Saturday temperatures will be pushing through the 70s, and approaching 80 degrees. That unseasonable warmth looks like it will be sticking around, according to forecasters, who say that above normal temperatures will be expected through the middle of next week.
