WHAT: A downtown Auburn eateries, shops & breweries food and beverage crawl to support innovative grants for educators in Auburn Enlarged City School District. Enjoy delectable samples as you visit participating venues.

Walley Co., Burger Theory at the Holiday Inn, Good Shepherd’s Brewing Co., Gretchen’s Confections, Knights of Columbus, Mesa Grande Taqueria, Moondog’s Lounge, Moro’s Table, Next Chapter Brewpub, Parker’s Grille, Prison City Pub & Brewery, Refinery Modern Fare, Regenerations, 3Leaf Tea, and Wild’s Eats & Sweets.
WHO: The event is presented by Auburn Education Foundation & sponsored by The Refinery at the Hilton Garden Inn, Savannah Bank, Big D’s Limousine, Jacobs Press, Knights of Columbus, The Citizen and Auburn Downtown BID.
HOW: Tickets are $25, advance sale only. Payment forms are cash & checks, payable to Auburn Education Foundation. To purchase via PayPal visit auburnedfoundation.org, or stop into Auburn Downtown BID, 128 Genesee Street & Harriet Tubman Administration Building, 78 Thornton Avenue.
STARTING POINTS: Participants must bring receipt or ticket to designated starting points to receive an event wristband. Locations include Good Shepherd’s Brewing Co., Moondog’s Lounge, Prison City Pub & Brewery, Refinery Modern Fare, Burger Theory at Holiday Inn, Moro’s Table and Genesee Mall. Once you have your wristband, you may proceed in any order you wish.
EVENT MAPS: Maps will be dispersed, listing venue addresses and offerings. Everyone needs an advance purchased ticket to participate, and all ages welcome. Photo ID requested if patrons wish to purchase alcoholic beverages.
FOOD & BEVERAGE: Samples vary from place to place, highlighting each business’s menu or specialty. Many venues are pairing small pour beverages to complement the food samples.
Good Shepherd’s Brewing Co. is serving sausage, bean & barley soup & Oktoberfest beers to pair. Moondog’s Lounge is serving potato soup & $3 small pours, plus music by Connie Patti & Jim Van Arsdale 2PM to 4:30PM. Prison City Pub & Brewery is serving Buffalo chicken pierogis & beers to pair.
Refinery Modern Fare is serving risotto fritters & tomato basil bisque, plus a $3 draft pairing. Burger Theory at Holiday Inn is serving pumpkin chili and burger bites, plus $3 IPAs & 1911 small pours. Moro’s Table is serving roasted red pepper & fennel soup and spiked cider to pair.
Parker’s Grille & Tap House is serving toasted “Little Wiggie” pot roast sliders & coconut curry cream of cauliflower soup, plus $2 domestic drafts. A.T. Walley & Co. is serving pork sliders, plus music by Faded Vinyl 3PM to 6PM.
Mesa Grande Taqueria is serving mini burrito bowls, gluten free, and $3 margaritas on the rocks- regular pour. Wild’s Eats & Sweets is serving pizza samples and $3 small pours of fruit smoothies & wine slushies. Next Chapter Brewpub is serving Samoa apple slices & $2 pumpkin beer tasting.
Regenerations is serving dessert samples. Gretchen’s Confections is serving pecan butter crunch & mint melt-a-ways, plus fresh brewed coffee. 3Leaf Tea is serving bean salad samples, gluten free, and a medium latte for $3.
From 4:30PM to 6PM (only) sponsor Knights of Columbus is serving a dinner buffet with appetizers, salad, chili, pasta & meatballs, and domestic draft specials, plus door prizes, silent auction items, the Gobble Rock game & 50/50 drawing.
TRANSPORTATION: Sponsor Big D’s Limousine Service will provide a shuttle for the event. There are six Gobble stops: The Holiday Inn, 3Leaf Tea, Speno’s Music, Genesee Center (South Street entrance), Prison City Pub & Brewery and the Hilton Garden Inn. Transportation will make a continuous loop from 1PM to 5PM, with the final runs to Knights of Columbus 4:30 to 5PM.
