Deputies: Macedon man chased two with baseball bat during incident

A 44-year-old Macedon resident was charged following an investigation into a disturbance, according to deputies in Wayne County.

Leo Jones, 44, was involved in a verbal altercation involving two subjects – when he picked up a baseball bat and chased after them.

Deputies say Jones was later located at his residence with the bat.

Jones was charged with two counts of menacing, and one count of criminal possession of a weapon as result.

He was held at the Wayne County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bond.

Additional court action is expected on October 23rd.
