Deputies say they responded to a two vehicle accident at the intersection of Lynauch Road and State Route 96 on Saturday around 4:52 p.m.
The Victor Fire Department and Victor-Farmington Ambulance were both also called to the accident, which temporarily shut down the roadway to traffic – as it was diverted around the scene.
Deputies say 24-year-old Andrew O’Connell, of Rochester was operating a vehicle, which experienced an air bag deployment in the accident.
Meanwhile, the vehicle operated by 49-year-old Robert Nier was heavily damaged.
O’Connell was transported to F.F. Thompson Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
Nier was issued traffic tickets for failing to yield the right of way making a left turn.
