Tractor-trailer flips down embankment, snarls traffic along SR 104

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports a one-car accident involving a tractor-trailer Thursday evening, which happened around 8 p.m. on State Route 104 in Huron.

Deputies say the accident involved a tractor-trailer near Brick Schoolhouse Road, where a tractor-trailer carrying corn – was eastbound, when it exited the road and rolled down a steep embankment.

The operator was identified as Andrew C. Breslawski, 26, of Hamlin.

Deputies were assisted by members of the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, as well as North Rose, and Alton fire departments. Eastern Wayne EMS was also called to the scene.

It was reported at the scene that there were no injuries.

First responders tell us there was extensive damage done to guardrail at the scene.
