Junior running back Brian Haeffner ran for a career-high 195 yards and three touchdowns as the Hobart College football team ended the season with a 42-31 win at St. Lawrence University. The Statesmen completed their 11th consecutive winning season with a 5-4 record.
Haeffner got a career-high 28 carries and averaged 7.0 yards per rush on the day. He also caught a pass for 8 yards, giving him a game-high 203 all-purpose yards. Haeffner scored on TD runs of 14 yards, 1 yard and 8 yards. It’s the first time a Statesman has rushed for three TDs since the 2017 season finale at Rochester.
