Teen found safe in Byron

The Genesee County Sheriff’s Office reports that a 14-year-old girl was abducted around 8 a.m. on West Bergen Road.

Deputies say the child was taken under circumstances that lead them to believe she is in “imminent danger or serious harm.”

The suspect has been identified as Guillermo Torres-Acevedo, a 22-year-old Hispanic male, with black hair and brown eyes. He is approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs about 180 pounds, according to the poster.

Kamerie Elliot is described as white, approximately 4 feet 11 inches tall and 140 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes. She has blue hair at this time, according to deputies.

The vehicle involved has been identified as a blue Dodge Journey with New York license plates with the number HHP5458. It was last seen traveling northbound on West Bergen Road.

Anyone with information should call the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office at (866) NYS – AMBER or dial 911 to provide information or report a sighting.
