Law enforcement has an active scene on North Creek Road in Wayne County, according to neighbors, who spoke with FingerLakes1.com.
First responders were called to 3030 North Creek Road in Palmyra for the report of a person who had been hit by a vehicle.
It was later reported, but unconfirmed that the driver of the vehicle fled the scene.
First responders then reported over the scanner that those responding should use caution when approaching the scene, as it was potentially a robbery at gunpoint.
Motorists are urged to avoid the North Creek Road area for the time being, as first responders handle the scene.
