Due to the lack of an available quorum, the Thursday, Dec. 20 meeting of the Yates County Planning Board was canceled. Checking on the members’ availability ahead of time, Yates County Planner Dan Long notified the board vial email Dec. 19, adding, “Therefore, unless there is some objection, I will send out notice that the December YC Planning Board is hereby canceled. All referring municipalities will be informed of the cancellation. Under this non-quorum, no action shall be taken. Decisions to the appropriate towns/villages will be sent with a “no action” notice.
No action rulings are the equivalent to an approval from the county, meaning the applications are handed back to the towns or villages without objection or comment.
