Stanley man charged with assault, endangering welfare of children after domestic incident

Deputies say a 35-year-old Stanley resident was arrested on multiple charges after a domestic incident on Sunday.

According to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office Matthew Kingston, 35, of Stanley was charged with assault and endangering the welfare of a child.

Kingston was arrested after allegedly assaulting a 48-year-old female while in the presence of his two children. The children were unharmed, according to deputies.

An order of protection was requested on behalf of the victims, and Child Protective Services was called. Kingston will have to appear in Gorham Town Court.
