Police investigating after baby dies in Auburn

Authorities in Auburn are investigating the death of a baby.

Police say a two-month-old girl was found unresponsive at a Seminary Street home around 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday.

Auburn Police, Fire, and TLC Ambulance all responded to the scene, according to police. The baby was pronounced dead at the hospital.

The Onondaga County Medical Examiner’s Office was called to the home, according to The Citizen.

They didn’t identify the individual who made the call to authorities – but noted it was a family member.

No additional information was available as the investigation remains in its early stages.
