Syracuse women’s basketball picks up transfer from Rhode Island

The Syracuse women’s basketball team has added some more depth and experience to its roster.

Elemy Colome, a 5-foot-7 guard, announced via Twitter that she is transferring from Rhode Island to the Orange.

Colome led Rhode Island with an average of 14.1 points per game last season. She also shot 36-126 (.286) from three-point range.

Since she is a grad student, Colome will be immediately eligible to play at SU.
