Keuka Spring Vineyards will uncork its annual Wine Education Series with "I've Gone Gewürz!"
The four-tasting event series kicks off Friday, May 31, and Saturday, June 1. Others in the series include "Shrimp & Chardonnay," June 28 and 29; "Merlot & Mignon," July 26 and 27; and "Holiday Barrel Tasting," on Dec. 7 and 8.
Winning the Governor’s Cup for its 2017 Gewürztraminer and awarded 2016 Winery of the Year, Keuka Spring Vineyards is a three-time winner of both the Governor’s Cup for best New York state wine and a two-time winner of Best White Wine in America.
Keuka Springs has been producing premium wines since 1985.
Each event features a library tasting of Keuka Spring wines paired with a specialty tasting plate. The one-hour tastings are held outside on the winery's patio overlooking Keuka Lake in small groups with the winemaker.
Special library vintages and new releases are available for purchase for event-goers.
