Tampa takes game 2 of series over Yanks, 7-2

Yandy Díaz came into this season with just one home run in his limited time at the big league level. On Saturday, the Rays third baseman connected on two home runs and delivered a career-high four RBIs to lead the Rays past the Yankees, 7-2, at Tropicana Field.

The Rays entered Saturday having been alone in first place of the American League East since March 31. With the win over the Yankees, who came in just a half-game back of Tampa Bay in the division, the Rays will be in first place for at least two more days.
