A man convicted of charges related to his father’s 2016 homicide is going before the parole board this week.
Alex Rideout was convicted of tampering with evidence in the death of his father, Craig Rideout, while mother and brother were both found guilty of murder.
Rideout is scheduled to be interviewed by the parole board this week after meeting the criteria for a merit time release.
For merit time releases, the board weighs the possibility of early release for individuals whose crimes meet particular eligibility criteria. In order to be considered, individuals must have taken part in required programming and a work or treatment program.
