Electronics manufacturer in Ontario County will expand, add jobs over next three years

More jobs and expanded facilities are coming to Ontario County, according to economic development officials.

Z-Axis, an electronics design and contract manufacturer, announced an $800,000 upgrade to its center. The company will create 20 new jobs over the next three years in that process.

Empire State Development is providing $150,000 for the project through the Excelsior Jobs Tax Credit Program. That is being provided in exchange for the company’s commitment to create jobs in Ontario County.

“The decision by Z-Axis to further expand in Ontario County reflects the success of our strategic investments to revitalize the Upstate economy by adding jobs and opportunity,” said Empire State Development President Howard Zemsky.
