Victor man accused of biting, injuring person during altercation; arrested on felony charges

The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a 46-year-old Victor resident on felony charges following an incident in Victor.

Deputies say that Edward Garcia, 46, of Victor had even been convicted on similar charges earlier in the year.

This time, Garcia was charged with aggravated family offense, criminal contempt, and assault following a physical altercation with another person. He’s accused of biting the arm of an unidentified male, causing injury.

It was also determined that Garcia was violating a stay away order of protection, and had been convicted of similar charges earlier in the year.

Garcia was transported to the Ontario County Jail pending arraignment.
