Canandaigua driver charged with DWI, but only suffers minor injuries after rollover crash

On November 8th at approximately 1:32 a.m. deputies responded to State Route 21 in the Town of Canandaigua for a reported rollover crash.

The vehicle, identified as a 2011 Chevrolet Cruz lost control and went off the roadway – flipping over.

After a roadside investigation, the operator was identified as Gerald Henderson, 30, of Canandaigua.

He was charged with driving while intoxicated and transported to F.F. Thompson Hospital after sustaining minor injuries to his nose and mouth.

Deputies say that Henderson submitted to a blood draw while at the hospital and will answer the charge at a later date in Canandaigua Town Court.
