Police: Seneca Falls man pushed woman, damaged cell phone during domestic incident

The Seneca Falls Police Department reports the arrest of a 24-year-old man following a domestic incident.

Matthew Bentz, 24, of Seneca Falls is accused of pushing a female resident during a domestic altercation.

As result, her cell phone was broken.

During investigation, police seized a small amount of marijuana. As result of the total investigation, Bentz was charged with second-degree harassment, fourth-degree criminal mischief, and unlawful possession of marijuana.

All of the charges will be answered at a later date.

Police say Bentz was transported to the Seneca County Correctional Facility to await centralized arraignment.
