Local dancers to perform in Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade

Local dancers from the Armstrong School of Dance will perform in the 93rd Annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. This is the 5th time the Armstrong School of Dance will participate in the parade within the last 12 years.

The 22 dancers have been invited to perform with the Spirit of America Dance Stars, Director Karen Armstrong Gorsky said.

The parade is on November 28th in Manhattan. It will be watched by more than 50 million people worldwide. The parade route is 2.6 miles long, and the group will perform at Herald Square in front of Macy’s.

The group will spend most of the week before the parade working with choreographers 6 hours a day.
