Bills take down Cowboys on Thanksgiving, 26-15 (full coverage)

The Bills treated their fans to a glorious Thanksgiving by giving one of their best performances in what is easily their biggest win in 20 years on as large a national stage as they’ve had in a long time. A year ago, the Cowboys’ Thanksgiving game against Washington was the most-watched game of the 2018 NFL regular season and sixth-most-watched sporting event of the year. It’s safe to say a similar audience tuned in to watch the Bills feast on the Cowboys for their third win in a row and clinch a winning season for the fourth time in the last 20 years.

Buffalo’s defense was absolutely smothering against the NFL’s top-ranked offense, forcing two turnovers.

PREVIEW:

It’s a national TV audience and a step-up in competition this week for the 8-3 Buffalo Bills. And it’s an abbreviated week of preparation. The Bills will play their game on Thanksgiving Day for the first time since 1994. And the team will look to win just their second game in Dallas all-time.

Dallas, 6-5 on the year, is coming off of a 13-9 loss to the New England Patriots in less than ideal weather conditions. The Cowboys had a terrific defensive performance in the loss, but the same could not be said for the offense or special teams.
