Deputies: Ontario County man ejected from snowmobile, sent to Strong Hospital

Deputies say a 35-year-old Ontario County man was sent to Strong Memorial Hospital and is recovering after a snowmobile accident on Route 14A.

Nicholas Brink, 35, of Seneca was said to be operating his snowmobile recreationally on his property on December 2nd around 6:20 p.m. when he hit a patch of ice – causing him to lose control of the snowmobile.

Unable to stop or turn it – the snowmobile struck a tree – ejecting Brink.

Deputies say Brink was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, but did suffer an injury to his leg. He was transported to Strong Hospital.

Deputies say the injuries were not considered serious or life-threatening.

Gotham Ambulance and Hall Fire Department responded to the scene.
