Deputies: Bath man stole credit cards from shopping center

Deputies say a Bath man was arrested on a grand larceny charge as an investigation into stolen credit cards continues.

Joseph Smith, 43, of Bath is accused of stealing a purse, which contained a number of stolen credit cards.

The purse was stolen from a shopping center in the town of Erwin.

Smith was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny and released on an appearance ticket.
