DOT officials working to ensure potholes filled as quickly as possible

State transportation officials say they’re working to fill potholes.

A couple weeks ago a story on FingerLakes1.com, and several others published in other outlets – highlighted the struggle that this winter has created.

Some departments around the state are working to fill the potholes in real-time. Others don’t have the opportunity because there are so many.

In those areas where they are filling potholes – the trouble-spots are being filled in real-time.

Repeated warming-and-freezing have played a major role in the issues seen on roads around the region.

The department urges everyone that wants to report a pothole to contact them directly at 1-800-POTHOLE.
