Former Congressman Chris Collins gets prison term delayed

Former Congressman Chris Collins will get a pass thanks to the Novel Coronavirus.

His sentence is not expected to start until June 23rd following a request for a delay due to COVID-19.

Health concerns put him at a high risk for complication, according to an attorney representing the disgraced Congressman.

He was sentenced to 26 months in prison. He pleaded guilty to insider trading charges.
