Police: Canandaigua man accused of choking person in front of child

The Canandaigua Police Department reports the arrest of a 46-year-old resident following an investigation at a residence on North Main Street.

Corey Johnson, 46, was charged with criminal obstruction of breathing, endangering the welfare of a child, and harassment.

Police say he choked another person in the presence of a child. Additional details about the incident, including injuries, were not reported.

Johnson was transported to the Ontario County Jail pending arraignment.
