Campgrounds, RV parks can reopen, according to Gov. Cuomo

Memorial Day will be the beginning of the official 2020 camping season, according to Governor Andrew Cuomo.

He set campgrounds and RV parks around the state to open on Monday, something many had been waiting weeks to occur.

Cuomo made the announcement during his daily COVID-19 briefing on Sunday afternoon. He reminded all New Yorkers to be smart as the state continues reopening.

New hospitalizations, cases, and intubations continued to trend downward.
