Deputies: Driver charged with driving under influence of drugs

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Rochester woman following a traffic stop on State Route 104 in Sodus.

Deputies arrested Diane Krauklis, 40, for criminal possession of a controlled substance, and driving left of pavement marketings.

Deputies were called to the area after receiving a civilian complaint of an unsafe driver, who was reportedly passing vehicles in the center lane of State Route 104. While responding, deputies located the vehicle and executed a traffic stop.

Krauklis was found to be operating the vehicle under the influence of drugs. Deputies say she failed field sobriety tests.

Drugs were also found in her vehicle. She was released on appearance tickets.
