Canandaigua driver falls asleep at Burger King drive-thru with child inside vehicle

The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a 38-year-old Canandaigua resident on a number of charges after an investigation at the Burger King drive-thru on Route 332 in Farmington.

Deputies say Kaylon Reed, 38, was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs, aggravated driving while intoxicated with a child passenger, endangering the welfare of a child, and two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Deputies say they received a report of an unconscious motorist with a child in the backseat at the drive-thru at Burger King.

Upon arrival and investigation, Reed was issued an appearance ticket and will answer the charges at a later date.
