Legislature approves police reform plan in Yates County

The Yates County Legislature has approved its police reform plan.

The plan, which was mandated by Gov. Andrew Cuomo last year, was due to state officials by April 1.

The 54-page plan will go before the state’s budget division for certification.

Chairman Doug Paddock held two public presentations of the plan in January.
